Email is personal.
Infrastructure should care.
FlashPost is a transactional email platform: a REST API and SMTP relay with deliverability built in. We’re building the email infrastructure we wished existed. One that tells you what’s happening, handles problems before you notice, and never makes you guess why an email didn’t land.
Why we’re
building this.
Transactional email is the quietest part of a product until it breaks. A sign-in code that arrives late is a locked-out customer. A receipt in the spam folder is a support ticket. A missed alert is an outage nobody heard about.
Most sending services treat delivery as a black box. You hand over a message and get back “sent”, which tells you nothing about authentication, which IP carried it, or what the receiving server said. When something goes wrong, you’re left reading bounce codes and guessing.
We think email infrastructure should explain itself. So every message in FlashPost carries one ID from the first request to the final delivery event, and the platform shows its work: how it was routed, who can see it, and what happened next.
- What it is
- A transactional email platform for applications: sign-in codes, receipts, alerts and reports.
- Ways to send
- A REST API over HTTP, or a standard SMTP relay on ports 587 and 465. No SDK required.
- Deliverability
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC handling, managed 30-day IP warming, inbox placement tests and Smart Relay fallback.
- Visibility
- Delivery, open, click, bounce and complaint events, signed webhooks, and searchable message logs on every plan.
- Environments
- Production, staging and development from day one, each with its own API keys and sending limits.
- Getting started
- A free plan with 1,000 emails a month. No credit card, and it does not expire.
What we
stand behind.
Four principles that shape every routing decision, every dashboard, and every support reply.
Transparency
You see what the platform does with every message: accepted, authenticated, routed, delivered. When something is deferred or bounced, the reason is on the record.
Reliability
Every bounce has a plan. When a mailbox provider throttles a dedicated IP, Smart Relay can reroute the message through the relay pool so mail keeps moving.
Honesty
We tell you the limits and show you the data, including a daily sender health grade from A+ to F, even when the grade isn’t flattering.
Simplicity
One HTTP request or your existing SMTP settings. Authentication, queuing, retries and suppression are handled after you send.
Who we
build it for.
Teams whose product depends on a message arriving, and who want to understand what happens after they press send.
Backend engineers and SREs
Who need email that behaves like the rest of their infrastructure: a clear API, separate environments, signed webhooks, and logs they can search when a customer says “I never got it.”
See the API and SMTP relayFounders and CTOs
Who want predictable cost and no deliverability surprises. Start on a shared pool, move to a dedicated IP with managed warming when volume justifies it.

Who need to know whether mail is landing. Placement tests, Gmail Postmaster Tools signals and a sender health score sit next to the sending controls.

Questions
people ask us.
What is FlashPost?
FlashPost is transactional email infrastructure. Your application sends a message through a REST API or an SMTP relay, and FlashPost handles authentication, routing, retries and suppression, then reports what happened through events, webhooks and message logs.
How is FlashPost different from an email marketing tool?
Marketing tools are built around campaigns and audiences. FlashPost is built around individual messages your product triggers, such as sign-in codes, password resets, receipts, shipping updates, alerts and scheduled reports, where speed and inbox placement matter most.
Do I need to install an SDK?
No. Any language that can make an HTTP request can send through the API, and any application or library that speaks SMTP can use the relay on ports 587 and 465.
What does “email infrastructure that explains itself” mean?
It means you should never have to guess why an email didn’t arrive. Each message has an ID that connects its authentication result, its route and its delivery events, and your sender reputation is summarised in a daily health grade with guidance.
